I'm slightly obsessed with RXBars, specifically the Chocolate Sea Salt flavor! And while I love to keep a few in my purse for emergency snacks, they can be pricey. Here is a recipe that tastes similar to the bars, but are nothing like the price!


Not only are these Chocolate Salted Balls delicious, they are packed with healthy fats, superfoods and protein! The dates provide potassium and iron, the cacao nibs and powder contain antioxidants, magnesium and calcium, and the nuts and coconut oil are good fats to keep you satiated and energized!

Not only are these Chocolate Salted Balls delicious, they are packed with healthy fats, superfoods and protein! The dates provide potassium and iron, the cacao nibs and powder contain antioxidants, magnesium and calcium, and the nuts and coconut oil are good fats to keep you satiated and energized!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup raw cashews

1/2 cup collagen powder

Pinch of sea salt

2 tbs raw cacao powder

2 tbs cocoa powder

2 cups pitted medjool dates

1 cup chopped almonds

1 tbs melted coconut oil

1/4 cup raw cacao nibs

Sea Salt Flakes


In a food processor, blend cashews until it turns into a flour consistency. Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the sea salt flakes, and blend well until it becomes pliable and looks like a giant ball of cookie dough! Break off about a tablespoon sized piece and roll into a ball, set on parchment or wax paper, and sprinkle a tiny bit of the sea salt flakes on top. Repeat with the remainder of the mixture and store it in the fridge or freezer.
